Mahima Vasishth

I am a postdoctoral scholar at the Laboratory for Effective Anti-Poverty Policies, Bocconi University.  

My research interests are in the fields of Labor Economics, Development Economics, and Public Economics. I am particularly interested in understanding the factors that shape women's economic outcomes, and in understanding the criminal justice systems in developing countries. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine in June 2023. I am a Research Affiliate at the IZA Institute of Labor Economics, a Non-Resident Associate Fellow at the National Council for Applied Economics Research, India, and I consult as an Economist at the Center for Effective Governance of Indian States, India.
